cloud backup

With our data backup system, your critical information backs up daily, and is not only stored locally, but also in the cloud. If the unexpected does happen, don’t worry, your information can be restored in hours, not days.

When it comes to backup options, AGJ offers two different versions:

  • Our level-one backup option is the Cloud Backup.  With this option, we install a small backup program on each computer/server that will be backed up.  On a nightly basis, any updated files are uploaded into a secure cloud server.  In case of a disaster, backup files can be accessed from any computer with internet access.  The primary disadvantage of this solution is its lack of hardware support and “image based” backup options.  While all files can be accessed and no data lost, a client may be unable to work until a new server can be purchased and configured.
  • Our premier-level backup option is the backup server (BDR).   With a backup server, we physically install a server at the client site.  This server backups other servers on the client’s network (as often as every 15 minutes).  At night, copies of the daily backups are sent to a secure cloud location.  In the event of a disaster, we can turn the backup server into a temporary server to run your entire office (in as little as 15 minutes).  In the event of total physical loss (e.g. hurricane), your servers can be virtualized in the cloud and a new backup server will be overnighted to your location (preloaded with all of your data).  Your files can be accessed via the internet immediately.  A new backup server can be onsite for your office within one day.

This weekend, our staff made the 5k trek around the former Gulfport VA hospital to support the American Heart Association at their 2011 Heart Walk. The week before, we were able to raise $1750 through generous donations and selling over 150 pulled pork sandwich lunch plates. A very heart-felt thanks goes out to all who donated or bought a plate, and to our team, who worked hard to support the cause.
